Maybe in another universe it could have been. 

Maybe we wouldn’t have had to fight so hard. Wouldn’t have had to go through the things we did. Wouldn’t have had to keep fighting to survive.

Maybe we could have been happy. Had the family we always pictured. We could have grown old together. We could have shown up to your parents with their grandchildren and watched as Yelena played with them.

We could have given them the life we never got. The life you never got. We could have gotten a cat. A black one named Liho just like you always imagined. I remember the way your eyes would sparkle as we passed by the pet shelter. 

We could have gotten married. With your family and mine surrounding us.

Maybe in another universe life wouldn’t have been so cruel. 

In Another Universe we’re happy.

In another universe you didn’t die.

You didn’t leave me here alone.

Maybe In another universe I was enough to stay. Enough to keep you happy. Enough to keep you alive.

Maybe in another universe I wouldn’t be standing at your grave as tears run down my face. Wouldn’t have to go home to an empty bed. Wouldn’t be ignoring the texts from Melina and Alexie or the worried calls from Yelena.

seeing people's reaction to the new yelena clip makes me realize again how badly the mcu fucked up natsha's fighting style.

like, all black widows are literally suppossed to be olympic level gymnasts, acrobats and aerialists.

that's kinda their thing...

but the mcu decided to make natasha wrap her thighs around a man's head 24/7 instead of making her fighting style what it's suppossed to be: acrobatic, artistic and even kind of ballet inspired.

"B-b-but it's not realistic!!😖🥺😢 She has the super soldier serum!!" It's the mcu! there literally was a purple man, who wiped out 50% of the universe using pretty stones.

I think you guys can survive when a woman (who's been trained in acrobatics & gymnastics since she was a little girl) uses highly acrobatic/gymnastic skills in her fighting style. And it's still not confirmed whether or not the Widows have some sort of serum but it's realistic (at least for me) that after decades of training one can pull off such skills without a serum.
